Died

Chas. Stith, a most estimable young man, who has been engaged in the grocery business, corner of Mulberry and Travis streets for some time, died at the residence of his father-in-law, D. T. Davis, a few miles east of the city, yesterday.  He was the victim of that most destructive plague comsumption and has been quite low for a number of months and his death has been expected for a num . . . . . . . . laid away in the city cemetery this afternoon.  The Register adds its condolence to the bereaved wife and family to that of the many friends who mourn the loss of a true and noble husband, son and brother.
