 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Daily Register Tuesday March 2, 1886 DIED At the residence of her grandson, Otto Thorp, corner of Williams and Throckmorton streets, this morning at 4 o'clock, Mrs. Susan McLeah passed away from the cares and pains of mortal existence into the sweet realization of the future, after a life of eighty-one years well spent in good deeds. For months, she has been confined to a bed of pain and suffering and her death, while a sad blow to the bereaved family, was not unexpected. Her remains will be interred in the city cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Earth has lost a good woman and Heaven has gained a deserving spirit.
