MORTUARY

Well-Known Ladies Buried at West Hill Today.

McELROY - Mrs. Maria F. M. McElroy, wife of Sam McElroy, South Moore street, died at Ft. Worth last evening. The body arrived at noon today and was taken at once to the Cherry Street Cumberland Presbyterian church where services were conducted by Rev. W. R. Grafton, at the conclusion of which the burial took place at West Hill cemetery.
Mrs. McElroy was
the only daughter of James N. and Elizabeth Vaden who moved from Smith county, Middle Tennessee, in 1843, spending four years in Red River county and 1847 locating three miles from Sherman.  She was the only sister of James W. Vaden and Frank Vaden of this city.
She has been in very poor health for several years and about a month ago went to Ft. Worth and  
underwent a delicate surgical operation. She was thought to be convalescing, but grew worse about a week ago.
She 
leaves no children.
A most lovable Christian spirit has been called home.


FULTON - Mrs. Charles Fulton died at Pottsboro last evening, and the interment took place at West Hill cemetery
this
afternoon.
The deceased was relict of Dr. J. G. Steever prior to her second marriage. She had many friends in this city.
