SHERMAN - Helen Aleman McClure, 91, of Sherman passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Homestead of Sherman.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Sherman with Rev. James Crawford of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Jim Pledger and Rev. Dr. Tom Peele of First United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will be from 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Bonham on February 7, 1920, to Albert and Sephrina (Ramirez) Rodriguez. She was educated in the public schools in Sherman. Helen married Eulogio Aleman and after his death she married Red McClure.
Helen was employed by Joe Covey Manufacturing as an on-line inspector. Then she worked for Pool Manufacturing for 15 years. She was also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eulogio, and three sons, David Aleman, Israel Aleman and Abraham Aleman and a son-in-law Kenneth Kerr. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by a son: Abel Aleman and wife Judy of Sherman; two daughters: Helen Aleman Kerr of Austin and Rebecca Roberson and husband Don of Sherman, and daughter in law Wendy Aleman of Sherman.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren: Lane Aleman and wife Yona, Ashley Aleman Yerkes and husband David, Anthony Aleman and wife Christina, Elena McCullough and husband Mickey, Christi Hickman and husband Jared, Corey Aleman, Israel Aleman Jr. and wife Erica, Kim Dunlap and husband Melvin, Gina Aleman, Holly Yeary and husband Kevin, Anita Jean Fretwell and husband Ken, Aline Fenn and husband John, Ken Kerr and wife Donna, Mark Kerr, Robert Kerr and wife Elaine, Valerie Walters and husband Jim Bob, Edward Roberson, Steven Roberson and wife Lori, Tammy Paramanantham and Noel, and Derrick Aleman. She is also survived by three sisters: Linda Ingram of McKinney, Martha Bowling of Lewisville, and Delores Good of Pennsylvania; and numerous great-grandchildren.
