Lois Matilda Butler Robinson of Granbury, Texas, formerly of Leonard, passed away on the morning of February 24, 2023.
Lois was born March 23, 1930, daughter of Mildred Cecilia and Harry Clifford Butler in Minnesota.   She married Jess Boyd in 1949 with whom she had 4 girls, Cherie Ann, Gayle Marie, Laura Jean and Joy Dawn.  In 1963 she married Charles E. Robinson and had 2 more girls, Teresa Jane and Cecilia Elaine.
Lois lived in 5 different countries during her lifetime: Japan, Germany, Israel, Egypt and, of course, the United States.  She lived in Leonard, Texas from 1973 to 2020 when she moved to Granbury.
Lois pursued many activities in her lifetime: swimming, gardening, lawn care, fox hunting, and running. She also enjoyed reading, writing her life's story, computers, and her favorite pastime, gambling.
Lois was known for her many worldwide adventures and storytelling related to her many travels, good humor and feisty energy.
Lois was preceded in death by her sister, Jean; brother, Jerry; parents; and husband Charles.
She is survived by her 6 daughters: Cheri, Gayle, Laura, Joy, Teresa, and Cecilia.  Also by her sister, Joy and brother, John; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2023 in the  Chapel of Waldo Funeral Home.  Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery.
