McKinney - Funeral services for Francoise Madeleine Jackson were held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 6 at Waldo Funeral Home. Father Dean Pratt officiated. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson, 78, passed away Monday July 4 in Allen, Texas.
Francoise was born June 19, 1933 in Mouline, France. After moving to America, Francoise maintained her European heritage. She was a loving mother and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and classical music. On December 30, 1972 she and Edward Jackson were married in St. Joseph, Missouri. She will be remembered for great sense of humor and her love for all animals. Mrs. Jackson was a Catholic.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband Ed of McKinney; sister-in-law, JoAnna Shaw of St. Joseph, Missouri; brother-in-law, Lawrence Jackson and his wife, Nancy, of San Antonio; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one daughter, Marinda Odyja; and one son, John Gauthier.

Edward Walter Jackson passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his home in McKinney, Texas.
Edward Walter Jackson was born December 2, 1929 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, son of Walter Andrew and Mae Elizabeth Bowers Jackson.  He graduated high school and attended college in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1950 - 1953.  In 1967 Ed became a Scottish Rite Mason in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Edward worked as a diesel mechanic on overseas jobs in Iceland, Ascension Island and Bagdad, Iraq for many years.  He married Francoisa Gauthier in 1972; she passed away in 2011 after 39 years of marriage.
Ed owned and operated salvage yards in Kansas City, Missouri and San Antonio, Texas.
He is survived by sister, Joanna Shaw; and a brother, Lawrence A. Jackson; and numerous nieces, one nephew and many cousins.
Graveside services were held Thursday afternoon, October 11th at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman.  Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. - - - Waldo Funeral Home
