 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Democrat December 21, 1964 Page 14 Mrs. Susan Irving Succumbs; Rites Set Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Waldo Funeral Chapel here for Mrs. Susan Barker Irving, of 1915 E. Pecan, who died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital. Rev. R.M. Williams, pastor of East Sherman Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. When not at the funeral home, the family will be at 4999 Crawford St., Denison. Mrs. Irving was born in Coleman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James K. McBee. In 1896, she married George Montgomery. He died in 1923. In 1933, she married Wiley Barker who died in 1949. In 1952, she married Frank Irving. He died in 1961. She had lived in Sherman for 42 years, and was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Rev. Charles Montgomery of Madill, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Lydia Hoffman and Mrs. John Ford, both of Denison, and Mrs. Mattie Wilkins of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Mrs. W.C. Cook of Leveland; a grandson, Ralph Hoffman of Denison; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
