 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Pamela Gayle Diaz 1957 - 2009  The Herald Democrat February 11 - 12, 2009 Diaz, 51, of Sherman, Texas will be held Thursday morning, February. 12, 2009 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. Burial will follow at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Pamela passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009 at her residence in Sherman. She was born on April 18, 1957, in Van Alstyne, the daughter of Eldon S. and Louise Burtchfield Morrison. Pamela married Eliazar Diaz on March 20, 1987. She is survived by her husband, Eliazar Diaz of Sherman; son, Bryan Morrison of Sherman; daughter, Letisia Tovar and husband, Juan, of Sherman; granddaughter, Kassadee Tovar; and brother, Rancy Morrison, of Sherman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother Charles Morrison.  Eliazar Diaz-Sanchez, 55, died October 18, 2020 at Medical City Hospital, Plano, Texas. Eliazar was born August 29, 1965 in Miery Noriega, N.L., Mexico, son of Mariano Diaz and Felipa Sanchez. In 1978 he moved to Sherman, Texas and started work as a laborer. Eliazar was a great family man and a loving father. He married Pam in 1987 and the couple had a blended family. He always had a smile that would light up the room. Eliazar is survived by his daughter, Lelisia Diaz of Sherman, Texas; his granddaughter, Kassadee Tovar of Sherman, Texas; his stepson, Bryan Morrison of Denison, Texas; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
