Sims T. Brown, traveling salesman for a Sherman flour mill, died Tuesday morning in the Medical Arts Hospital. Mr. Brown received a broken vertebra in a fall two days before Thanksgiving when he slipped and fell at a Dallas grain plant, and had been a patient here since that time.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Sherman, conducted by the Rev. Homer A. Strong, pastor of the Central Christian Church.  Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
A native of Sherman, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Irvine (Major) Brown of Sherman and a nephew of the late Tom Brown, Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court.  
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Josie Smith Brown; two daughters, Mrs. A.E. Howse of Fort Worth and Mrs. John Gover of Sherman; and a grandson, Bobby Howse of Fort Worth; and a cousin, Mrs. C.E. Craycroft of Sherman.
