IN MEMORIAM

Mr. W.F. Dunham
September 27, 1895

Death has entered into his home,
Missing is our loved one dear;
Silently passed he to his reat,
Comely and without fear.

He has gone and left us,
Gone where the angels dwell.
Why did he leave us to grieve?
But "God Doeth All Things Well."

As we stood beside his bed,
With anxious watching eyes
He saw, beyond this soaring earth,
His home within the skies.

The friends he had gathered 'round
Were like the sands of the sea.
Oh, why has he left us?
How lonely we will be!

His earthly life was finished;
He had run his earthly race,
And in dying praised his Savior
For a lasting, saving grace.

Let us not grieve for him,
And sit with tearful eye,
But try to meet death as he did -
Be not afraid to die.

This he with angel harpers,
With voice triumphant sings;
"O, Death, where is thy victory,
O, Grave, Where is they sting?"
