DEATH OF MRS. STELLA MAE PERKINS
Miss Stella Mae Miller was born November 20th, 1897 in the Lone Star community near Weston.  Died in the sanitarium at Olney, Young County, July 6th, 1928, being at the time of her death, 30 years, 7 months, and 16 days of age.
She was married to Joe Wilson, September 19th, 1915, who preceded her to the grave 4 years ago.  To this union were born 4 children, as follows: ansel, Carlyle, Mary Ida and Alton.
She made her home with her father and mother while a widow.
On September 24th, 1927, she was married to Clyde Perkins of Olney.  Ill health overcame her and she submitted to an operation July 1st.  Everything possible was done for her, but to no avail.  Her death was unexpected and was a great shock to her family and many friends.  Early in life she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and united with the Christian church.
Besides her husband and 4 orphan children, she is survived by her father and mother; one brother; and one sister; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller of Weston; Cecil Miller of Van Alstyne; and Mrs. Jim Wilson of Olney.
The remains were shipped to Van Alstyne and conveyed to the Warden cemetery Sunday, July 8th, where funeral services were held at 3 p.m. by Rev. E.D. Henson, pastor of the first Christian Church of Van Alstyne, and was tenderly laid to rest by the side of her first husband.
The floral offerings were many and very beautiful.
Much sympathy will be felt for these 4 little orphan children.  They will make their home with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Wilson of the Warden community, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller of Lone Star. - - - Her Cousin.
