The Denison Press Friday, February 17, 1914 pg. 1 Funeral services for Edward D. Garrett, 32, a WPA timekeeper and resident of Denison nearly all his life, who died Wednesday evening at his home, 200 W. Acheson, following an illness since Christmas day, were held this morning at 9:30 from Short-Murray chapel with Rev. L.R. Lamb officiating. Remains were taken overland to Tom Bean for interment at a cemetery near there, Short-Murray directing. Pallbearers were Earl Umphreys, Roy Gafford, Eugene Allen, John Finley, Coy Petty, and Ralph Henley.
