Thorn 1892 - 1976   Thomas Payne Thorn 30 December 1925 - 28 September 1990 RD1 US Navy US Army WWII, Korea Breckenridge American (Breckenridge, Texas) Thursday, October 30, 1952 pg. 2 TWO MOTORCYCLISTS ARE CRASH VICTIMS Fort Worth, October 30 (U.P.) - Two motorcyclists were killed Wednesday when their vehicles skidded in loose gravel, throwing them into huge rocks along the road shoulder of highway 183. The victims were Cecil N. Hamilton, 39, Consolidated Vultee Aircraft workers; and Joseph William Thorn, 35, employe of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The double accident occurred about one mile north of Weatherford highway traffic circle. It brought the Tarrant county traffic toll this year to 47. Hamilton, a native of Durant, Oklahoma, had lived in Ft. Worth 3 years. Thorn, a railroad fireman and native of Sherman, came to Ft. Worth only a month ago.
