services for Wallace Glenn Underwood, 76, were held October 9, 2006
with Rev. Harold Watson, pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church in
Whitesboro and Rev. Mike Flanagan, pastor of First Baptist Church,
Whitesboro, officiating. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery,
Whitesboro. Wallace passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington. He was born July 17, 1930 in Cooke County, son of Burt and Rosetta (Norris) Underwood and married Nelma Sissney on February 8, 1950 in Gainesville. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church, Whitesboro. He is survived by his wife of Whitesboro; son, Les Underwood and wife, Bonnie, of Whitesboro; daughter, Lisa Stillman and husband, Andrew, of Horn Lake, Mississippi; five grandchildren, T.J. Underwood of McKinney; Kathryn and Liana Stillman of Horn Lake, Mississippi; Russell and Kyle Townsley of Whitesboro; three great-grandchildren.
