Funeral services for Paula L. Crockett, 73, of Gainesville, were held Monday morning, April 11, 2016 at Geo. J. Carroll  & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Isham and Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating.  Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
Mrs. Crockett passed away on April 8, 2016 in Gainesville, Texas.
Paula was born April 19, 1942 in Spearman, daughter of Robert Edward and Anise L. Bacon Smith.   She married Ed C. Crockett on October 20, 1962 in Gainesville. 
Paula was a house painter for F.J.
Shwadlenak and was owner/operator of the Moss Lake Store.  She will be remembered as a Cub Scout mother, a painter, her love of coffee and Dr. Pepper, and as a mother to all.
Survivors include son, Aurelian Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Sherry Goldsmith and husband, Teddy, of Gainesville; son, Richard Nabors and wife, Paula, of Amarillo; son, Andy Crockett and wife, Laura, of Woodbine; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Merylene Arrington of Thackerville;
sister, Carylene Cartwrighrt and husband, James, of Thackerville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Crockett was preceded in death by her husband, Ed C. Crockett; daughter, Jo Lynn Smith-Rogers; son, Gerry Keith Crockett; her parents; and brother-in-law, Leon Arrington.
Mrs. Crockett's grandsons served as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moss Lake VFD, Home Hospice of Cooke Co. or Renaissance Care Center.
