Sherman – Mary Margaret Baker Williams, 76, passed away August 17, 2014 in Sherman, Texas. She was born January 10, 1938 to Jake Williams and Pauline Margaret (Sweeny) Baker in Queen City, Texas.
She was a member of Share Ministries Church of Sherman, Texas. She also was a member of the Salvation Army. Mary enjoyed crochet, word search puzzles, and the board game, Yahtzee. She had lived in Sherman since 1960. She was a very loving and giving person. She never met a stranger and never turned anybody away.
She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Benedict, Tanya Ames; sons, Louis Williams, Paul Williams, Terry Williams, Jerry Williams, Michael Williams; 25 grand children; 30 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; her sisters: Margie Tyler; Phyllis Hancock and Candice Slater.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Louis Williams; her parents, Jake Williams and Pauline Baker; her daughter, Marilyn Langham; granddaughter, Taylor Williams; grandson, Ethan Michael Williams; great-grandson, Roman Williams; and her sister, Devonna Davidson.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014, at in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. ~ ~ ~ Meador Funeral Home
