Adrian Wyatt Arterburn, 70, of Deniso and formerly of Caviness, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001 at his home.  Services were Sunday, July 8, at the Daniel Funeral Home in Sherman with Rev. Jay Pannebaker of Bible Missionary Church officiating.  Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.  Pallbearers were Junior Ray Knight, Capt. Ron Brown, Billy Don Arterburn, Donnie Achimon, Sean Lewers and Kenneth Aldridge.
He was born September 10, 1931 in Caviness to Raymond Marison Arterburn and Eddie Lovela Beard Arterburn.  He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and served in the Army during the Korean War.  He married Linda Adams on October 13, 1962 in Durant, Oklahoma. She survives.
He was active in his children's lives, participating in and attending Pee Wee baseball and football games with them.  He also loved antiquing with his wife and family.
Survivors include his wife; son, Adrian "Todd" Arterburn and wife, Stephanie, of Corpus Christi; and David Brett Arterburn of Whitesboro; a daughter, Sharon Kay Achimon and husband, Donnie, of Tom Bean; a sister, Christine McHam, of Sherman; grandchildren, Ryan, Alexis, Kelsi, Gabriel, Sydney, and Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tex Arterburn.
