Jack P. Boston Dies at Age 53
Jack Percy Boston, 53, a deputy county clerk for the last twenty-seven years, died Saturday in a Dallas hospital. A Dallas resident for thirty-five years, he lived at 9936 Dresden Drive.

Boston was born in Whitesboro. He was a member here (Dallas) of the City Temple Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters; Mrs. Pat Kennedy of El Paso, Mrs. Howard Moffatt and Miss Jean Boston, both of Lafayette, California; four brothers, J. C. Boston Jr. of Dallas, Frank Boston and Sam Boston of Whitesboro, and W. G. Boston of Canyon; three sisters; Mrs. J. M. Culwell of Denton, Mrs. W.L. Porter of Merces, California. and Mrs. J. W. Henderson of Dallas; three granddaughters and a grandson.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Sparkman Brand Funeral Chapel, 2115 Ross, Dr. Floyd Poe officiating. Burial will be in the Whitesboro Cemetery.


Mrs. Ethel Colwell
Whitesboro, Tex. - Funeral Services were held Wednesday in the Richards-Beck Chapel for Mrs. Ethel Colwell, 76, who died Monday in Texarkana, Burial was in the Whitesboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Colwell was a native of Mississippi. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Boston and wife of the late
J. M. Colwell.
She is survived by one son, Carl Colwell of Texarkana; four brothers, Frank Boston and Sam Boston of Whitesboro; J.E. Boston of Dallas and Will Boston of Canyon; two sisters, Mrs. Wiley Henderson of Dallas and Mrs. Leslie Porter of San Francisco, California; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
