Funeral services for Bobby Leo Butler, 82, of Whitesboro, Texas were held Monday, October 20, 2014 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Robinson officiating; interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro.
Bobby was born to Samuel Leo Butler and Mary Elizabeth Culp at Silvells Bend, Texas.  He married Betty Joyce Umsted January 31, 1958 at Gainesville, Cooke Co., Texas.  He worked for Grumman-Olson for 10 years.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korea War.  He was a member of North Hills Baptist Church, Whitesboro.
He is survived by his wife; son Bradley Leo Butler and wife, Tina, of Whitesboro; daughter, Theresa McClure and husband, Larry, of Sherman; grandchildren: Joshua Broomfield, Katharine Broomfield, Emily Henderson and Gabby Butler; great-granddaughter, Alaina Beckman; sister, Billie Louise Brewer of Forestburg, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.


Funeral services for Betty Joyce (Umsted) Butler, 77, of Whitesboro, Texas, will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 2:00 at Meador Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tim Robinson officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery.  She passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, with her family by her side.
She was born to Ora Vernon and Myrtle Frances (Maglaughlin) Umsted on December 10, 1938, in Gainesville, Texas and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2014.  Betty was a long time member of North Hills Baptist Church  in Whitesboro.  She worked for Bill and Vivian Young in the sewing factory and after the factory closed, she worked for Hank and Rita Lovejoy at Lovejoy's on Main making bread for the restaurant.
She is survived by a son, Brad Butler, and his wife, Tina of Whitesboro, Texas; daughter, Theresa McClure and husband, Larry, of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua Broomfield, Katharine Broomfield, Emily Henderson, and Gabby Butler; great-granddaughter, Alaina Beckman; great-grandson, Waylon Karleskint; great-granddaughter, Natalie Broomfield, and sister, Bobbie Neal of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Larry McClure, Keith Neal, Colton Baugh, Dale Baugh, Rick Baugh, and Chad Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Myrtle Umsted and a sister, Mary Baugh.
