John White Keeran, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Keeran, died early this morning at a local hospital following an operation for appendicitis. The child had been ill 10 days before his death.
The family has been living in Borger for about 3 years. The father is manager of the Frick-Reid Supply company. The boy was well-known in Borger schools, where he attended since coming to Borger. He was the only child.
The body is at Carver Funderal Chapel pending the convenience of relatives. Burial will be at Whitesboro, Texas, where the remains will be sent tonight.

Mary White Keeran, 85, died Saturday in Collinsville. She was born August 30, 1895 in Whitesboro to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh G. White.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Keeran.
She is survived by her sister, Winnie Howser, and several nieces and nephews.
