Jerry Wayne McKenzie, 72, passed away March 15, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born June 4, 1942 in Perryton, Texas, one of three children born to Karl and Juanita McKenzie.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty; son, Jeffrey and wife Johanna and granddaughter Kaitlyn of Prosper; daughter, Debra and husband, Stephen Kosarek of Argyle, Texas and grandson, Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon McKenzie, sister, Jean Taylor; and nephew, Bobby McKenzie
After graduating from the University of North Texas, Jerry built a very successful career in sales nationally and internationally.
A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Callisburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Karen Martinez officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitewboro.
