Funeral services for Regina Gail Sanders Hiser, 60, of Sherman were held Friday, December 9, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Tony Aureus officiating. Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery. Regina passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Woodlands Place Rehab in Denison.
She was born March 12, 1956 in Dallas, daughter of Jack Sanders and Veta Gaskin. She graduated from Whitesboro High School and worked as a registered nurse at Texoma Medical Center - WNJ and at several Dallas hospitals. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. She was a member of Legion of Mary.
Pallbearers were Andy Meals, Rex Rue, Terry Bomar, Jerry Patterson, Kevin Stofle and Dayton Hawkins.
She is survived by her parents; son, Sam Hiser and companion, Jana Russell, of Sherman; and brother, Dennis Sanders of Whitesboro.
