Charles Ray Lynch, 70, was born 29 July 1939, son of Ray Lynch & Lillian Salling. He graduated from Whitesboro High School and earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University. He was an Army veteran, serving in the band. His career was as a band director, teaching at Gainesville, Little Elm and Wills Point, from which school he retired.
He passed away at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth,
Surviving are his sister, two nieces, a great-niece, an aunt and uncle, and several cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Landon Bell.
