 Whitesboro   Jerry L. Lupher 24 May 1931 - 25 January 2018 Martha Lupher 22 June 1933 - wed 15 July 1954  Garland - Graveside services for Jerry Lee Lupher, 86, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Paul Burns. Services were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, Texas. Jerry passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. He was born on May 24, 1931 in Howe, Texas to Harry and Dessie Tribble Lupher. Jerry married Martha Hickman on July 15, 1954 in Whitesboro, Texas. The then served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Jerry attended First Presbyterian Church in Garland. He loved sports and enjoyed a great round of golf. Survivors include his wife of Garland; children: Gary Lupher and wife, Linda, of Benbrook, Texas; Janet Moore and husband, David, of Palm City, Florida; Karen Tarver and husband, John, of Richmond, Texas; four grandchildren, Stacey, Erin, Lyndsey, and Blake; seven great-grandchildren, Liam, Sydney, Laine, Hill, Caolan, Bradan and Edyn; and sister Norma Reck of Colleyville, Texas.
