 Services for Charles Freeman, 74, of Whitesboro were held at Huff Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Chisum of New Day Tabernacle Church of God in Whitesboro officiating.  Mr. Freeman died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1932 in Southmayd, son of Willie Leon Freeman and Cordie Killingsworth.  He and Helen Davis were married in Whitesboro on June 8, 1961.  He started working for Burlington Industries in Sherman in 1957 and worked there until they closed 32 years later.  He then went to work for Sherman ISD, working there for 17 years until he retired.  He was affliated with New Day Tabernacle Church of God in Whitesboro.
Survivors include his wife; son, Kenneth and wife, Rhonda, of Whitesboro; sisters, Frances Dillion of Dallas, Millie Orurke of Mesdo, California, Nancy Stewart of Ft. Stockton, Doris Armstrong of El Paso, and Mary Voelkle of Sherman; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Bobby Freeman.
Pallbearers were J.L. Lowry, Jacob Rickman, Raymond Davis, Jason Hock, Brad Davis and Travis Davis.
