Carolyn Marie Flowers, 60, of Southmayd passed away on Friday, March 6, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 9 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Duff officiating; interment followed at Oakwood Cemtery, Whitesboro.
She was born October 14, 1949 in Denison, daughter of Boyd Sexton and Gladys Mayo. She graduated from Denison High School in 1967 and married Roy Flowers, June 2, 1967 in Denison. Carolyn retired from Texas Instruments/Raytheon after 38 years of service.
Survivors include her husband; son, Brian Flowers and wife, Amy, of Allen; daughter, Alicia Flowers of Sherman; her mother of Whitesboro; her maternal grandmother, Velma Mayo, of Whitesboro; sister, Donna Dolezalek and husband, Sammy, of Sadler; three grandchildren: Jake, Lucas and Caroline Flowers of Allen; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Billy Hamilton, Lonnie House, Bobby Neely, Marty Hall, Gene Hollar, and Mike Dobbs.
