MRS. BESSIE FIELDER (date of death: Dec. 19, 1975)
Whitesboro - Services for Mrs. Bessie Fielder, 84, who died Friday at a Sherman Hospital, were held at 2:30 pm Sunday at Richards Funeral Chapel here, conducted by Rev.Glyn Rives and Rev. Lawrence Smith. Burial was in the Whitesboro Cemetery.
She was born in Arkansas, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. W. A. Williams. She married Hodge Fielder on Jan. 13, 1907, in Whitesboro and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Lewis Fielder of Whitesboro and J. C. Fielder of El Cajon, California; daughters Lola Booker of San Diego, California; and Marie Turner of Whitesboro; brothers, Walter Williams of San Diego and Jack Williams of Iowa Park; sisters Mrs. Cleo Randles of Dallas and Mrs. Coralie Wisdom of Sherman; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Whitesboro-Services for Hodge Fielder, 91, retired farmer who died Wednesday at a Whitesboro Nursing Home, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Richards Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Glyn Rives. Burial was at the Whitesboro Cemetery.
Fielder was born in Grayson County, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fielder. He married Bessie Gertrude Williams on Jan. 13, 1907 in Whitesboro. He was a member of Woodmen of the World for 72 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro.
Surviving are his sons, Lewis Fielder of Whitesboro and J.C. Fielder of El Cajon, California; daughters, Mrs. Lis Booker of Sand Diego, California and Mrs. Marie Turner of Whitesboro; brothers. Leonard Fielder of Elk City, Oklahoma; and Rich Fielder of Ontario California; sisters, Mrs. Alvie Bell of Denison and Mrs. Pearl Addington of Haynesville, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial be made to the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro.
