Mrs. N.C. Donaldson, after a three weeks' illness, died Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock, at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. N.E. Donaldson.
Deceased was born January 14, 1834, and at the time of her death was 70 years, four months and four days of age.
She was the widow of R.S. Donaldson, an ex-Confederate soldier who died more than six years ago.  Deceased had been a resident of Grayson county 30 years, 18 of which were spent in Whitesboro.  She was a good Christian lady, having been a member of the Methodist Church the greater part of her life.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence of Mrs. N.E. Donaldson by Rev. S.A. Ashburn at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after which internment took place in the city cemetery.
One brother, Robert Ethery, of this county; a sister, Mrs. King of Jacksboro and other relatives have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
