James Michael "Mike" Brady

Sadler - Funeral services for James Michael "Mike" Brady, 61, of Sadler, Texas were held Friday, October 9, 2015 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating; interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro.
Mike was born September 8, 1954, in Sherman, son of James Carlos Brady, Sr. and Emma Jane Pitts.  He worked at IBM as well as Citi Financial and was a life-long rancher.  He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gordonville.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Karen Bomar and husband, Terry, of Sadler; niece, Sarah McKinney and husband, Clayton, of Celina; and nephew J.C. Bomar and wife, Lauren, of Sadler.
Pallbearers were J.C. Bomar, Clayton McKinney, Bill Fisher, Dylan Fisher, Keith Hughes and Jim Crocker.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.C. and Flora Brady; John and Mildred Pitts; aunt, Freda Boston; and cousin, Ronny Boston.

Funeral services for James Carlos Brady, Jr., 88, of Gordonville were held February 20, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating.  Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro.
He passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016.  He was born February 6, 1928 in Gordonville, Texas, son of James Carlos Brady, Sr. and Flora Baker Brady.  He and Emma Jane Pitts married on August 26, 1950 in Gainesville, Cooke Co., Texas; they were married for 65 years.
James Carlos was a member of First Baptist Church, Gordonville, having served as Deacon.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Masonic Lodge #536 A.F. & A.M. for 60 years.  Carlos received an Award of Merit to Noble from Hella Temple Director's Staff and an Award from Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America.  He was Shriner, Eastern Star Past Patron, and member of York Scottish Rite.  He served as a Foreman of Pct. #4 and County Commissioner of Pct. #4 in Grayson Co. for 20 years.  He was a past President of the North East Commissioner and Judges Association; Pct. 19 Election Judge, on the Board of Directors for the First National Bank of Whitesboro and a past School Trustee in Gordonville.  Carlos was involved in designing and planning of the Justice Center, Sherman.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Karen Bomar and husband, Terry, of Sadler; grandchildren, J.C. Bomar and wife, Lauren, of Sadler; and Sarah McKinney and husband, Clayton, of Celina; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Aybrea, Jace, and Emma.
Pallbearers were J.C. Bomar, Clayton McKinney, Keith Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Michael Graham, and Horace Groff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mike Brady; and sister, Freda Boston.

Whitesboro - Funeral services for Jane Brady, 83, were held Friday, December 29, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Gordonville with Rev. James Raffety officiating. Pallbearers were Keith Hughes, Brandon Hughes, J.C. Bomar, Ray Smith and Mike Graham, Jr.   Honorary pallbearers were Brayden Bomar and Jace Bomar.  Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery.  Jane passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Whitesboro, Texas.
Jane was born March 25, 1934 in Cedar Mills, Texas to John E. and Mildred Johnson Pitts.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Gordonville, and a member of the Eastern Star.  Jane married James Carlos Brady August 26, 1950 in Gainesville, Texas.  They were married 65 years upon his passing.  Jane attended Whitesboro schools growing up and received her nursing degree from Grayson County College and was a registered nurse.  She worked for WNJ Hospital and the Gainesville State School until her retirement.
She is survived by daughter, Karen Bomar and husband, Terry, of Sadler; grandchildren, J.C. Bomar and wife, Lauren, of Sadler; and Sarah McKinney of Sadler; five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Aybrea, Jace, Emma and Brooks.  Sister, Jo Frech of Cincinnati, Ohio and sister, Sue Cummins; brother, Dr. Harold PItts of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Mike Brady; sisters, Jeanette Snyder and Ann Dawson; and one brother, Hank Pitts. - - - Meador Funeral Home.
