 Whitesboro  Dana Sue Squires 8 November 1941 - 22 May 2011  Whitesboro - Graveside services for Dana Squires, 69, were held Tuesday afternoon, May 24, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Service arrangements were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home. She passed away in Sherman on May 22, 2011. Dana Sue Squires was born November 8, 1941 in Dalhart, Texas, daughter of T.W. "Dub" and Wyoma Jewel "Cricket" Thomas Matthews. She married Larry Squires on November 9, 1958 in Clayton, New Mexico. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and active in the community. She was very artistic and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Lorrie Stuckey and husband, Ray Lynn, of Whitesboro; granddaughter, Kara Frazier; grandson, Tanner Bridgeman; and brother, Bill Matthews and wife, Joyce, of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Squires; parents; and a brother, Jack Matthews. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
