 Whitesboro  Funeral services for Glynda Pearl Spence, 74, of Whitesboro were held Saturday morning, September 3, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chape with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. She passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her home after a brief illness. She was born on January 3, 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas, daughter of Glynn Arthur and Annie Jean Robinson Phillips. Glynda was of the Methodist faith. She had owned and operated Movies To Go in Whitesboro. She and Mack loved to travel and they had been married 55 years, marrying July 15, 1961 in Miami, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband, Mack Spence, of Whitesboro; son, Alan Spence of Sherman; sisters, Kathy Hupp of Whitesboro and Sherry Cooper of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandson, Alan Spence II of Sherman; and nephew, Chris Hupp of Whitesboro.
