 Whitesboro The Denison Herald April 8, 1994 pg. 2 Whitesboro, Texas - Funeral services for Claudie Lee Skaggs, 69, of Whitesboro were held Saturday afternoon at the Huff Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Skaggs died April 7, 1994 at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Skaggs was born to John and Ethel Brazil Skaggs on February 18, 1925 at Greenview, Texas. He married Ruth Norman on November 17, 1955 in Lubbock; he practiced the Baptis faith and worked as a self employed mechanic. Skaggs is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Joe Skaggs, Lowell Skaggs, and Charles Skaggs, all of Whitesboro; 2 daughters, Louelle Berner of Katy, Texas and Martha Marcum of Whitesboro; 2 brothers, Clarence Skaggs and Marvin Skaggs, both of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren and 7 adopted grandchildren.
