Evelyn Sanders Remley, 87, went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 11, 2013.  Services were held Friday afternoon at Greenwood Chapel.  Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro.
Evelyn was born December 13, 1925 in Whitesboro to James Houston and Devie Anderson Sanders.  She married William Hardin Remley and had two daughters, Marla and Nancy.  Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, creating many happy memories for her family.  Each of her grandkids held a special place in her heart.  She enjoyed reading and had a talent for writing poetry.  She sold Avon for 30 years because she loved interacting with people and giving gifts.  Evelyn was a long time member of Ridglea West Baptist Church which is now Agape Baptist Church.  She shared her faith with family and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; sister and 2 brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Marla Pope and husband, Dwaine, of Longview, Texas; and Nancy Reisor and husband, Gary, of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Misty, Mindy, Kyle, Katie, Hannah, and Caden; great-grandchildren, Matthias, Elliot and Abby.
