Whitesboro - Funeral services for Lois Marie Hunter, 88, were held Thursday, February 8, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating, assited by Rev. Kelly Gray and Rev. Johnny Reed. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. All service arrangements were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro.
She passed away at her residence in Whitesboro on February 6, 2012.
Lois was born March 23, 1923 to Chesley and Nettie Ridinger Roberts in Sherman, Texas. She married Bill Hunter in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1944. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro where she was a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her son, Michael C. Hunter, of Whitesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Matthew Hunter; her parents; and sixteen siblings.
