"Jim" Scott 17 October 1944 - 20 June 2009  Waxahachie - Funeral services for James N. Scott were held Tuesday, June 16, 2009 with Rev. Rick Carney and Buck Jordan officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. Mr. Scott passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas. He was born October 17, 1944 in Fort Benning, Georgia to Charles Wilson and Virginia Choyce (Andrew) Scott. Jim worked as an aircraft mechanic and also as an equipment technician for Hilltop Lanes in Waxahachie. Survivors include sons, Monte Scott and wife Ofelia of Midlothian and Richard Scott and wife, Angela, of Fort Worth; brother, Roger Martin and wife, Mary, of Channelview; four grandchildren; nephew Joe Martin of Channelview. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
