Geraldine Margie Phillips, 94, formerly of Arlington, Texas, died April 6, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Funeral services were held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas.  Burial followed the service at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro.
Mrs. Phillips was born March 4, 1923 in Whitesboro, Texas to John Q. and Dora Mae Douglas Eldredge.  She graduated from Whitesboro High School and married Sayles Grady Phillips of Whitesboro December 3, 1939.  Mr. Phillips served in the Merchant Marine in World War II.  After returning home from service, Mr. and Mrs. Phillips made thier home in Seminole, Oklahoma where he began his career with Sinclair Oil and Gas, later BP Petroleum.  Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker.  They were both active members of First Baptist Church.  Mr. Phillips died September 20, 1987.  
Mrs. Phillips was also pre-deceased by her parents and sisters, Juanita West (Bill), Lorena Cobler (Joe); Odessa Plexco (Carey); Maxine Cunningham (Wayne); brother, J.O. Eldredge; nephews, Billy Gene West, Carey E. Plexco, Stanley Joe Plexco; and niece, Sarah Ann (West) Sledge.
She is survived by a nephew, Joe B. Cobler of Euless, Texas. - - - Meador Funeral Home
