Uriah Green White and his wife, Mary Callie Love White:

Uriah Green White was born February 24, 1855 in Georgia and died February 4, 1937, buried February 5, 1937.  Mary Callie Love White was born October 13, 1860 in Jacksonville, Texas; she died February 17, 1956, buried February 18, 1956.

In 1880 Uriah was a school teacher in Whitesboro; his father-in-law, J.R. Love, was a Constable in Whitesboro.

U. Green White was a hotel proprietor and was in Whitesboro in 1920, located at 100 W. Main Street.  He was 64 years of age and born in Georgia.  His wife, Mary, was 59 years of age and born in Texas, both were living with their daughter and son-in-law, Winnie and Earnest Christian and their two sons, Jack and Gerald.  Earnest was a conductor on the railroad.

Winnie and Earnest were married June 23, 1908 in Grayson County, Texas.  Earnest was the son of Gabriel Williams Christian and Carrie Elizabeth Actkinson and grandson of Missouri Ann Warden and John Welch Christian; great-grandson of Williams Warden and Hester Ann Smith, daughter of G.W. Smith of Collin County, Texas.  Earnest died March 12, 1922 in McKinney and was buried in Fitzhugh Cemetery.  
Winnie was living in Wichita in the 1930 census; her sons worked for a well known funeral director.  Winnie and her sons are buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
