George W. Acton went to Whitesboro Wednesday to attend the funeral of A.L. White, a former citizen of that place, who died at his home in Durant, Oklahoma, Tuesday, at the age of 77 years.  Mr. White was a son of the man after whom Whitewboro was named.  
He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Ida Wilkins and Mrs. G.C. Bauman of Whitesboro and Mrs. G.F. Doston of Durant, Oklahoma.
