Mitchell 1 March 1951 - 16 December 1980 Gainesville Daily Register Wednesday, December 17, 1980 Dorothy Lynette Mitchell, 29, of Whitesboro, died Tuesday in a Sherman hospital after a long illness. She was born March 1, 1951 in Whitesboro, daughter of Luther and Betty Ruth Lowery. Survivors are her husband, Gerald Mitchell; daughter, Melissa Mitchell; father, Luther Lowery; brothers, James, Rev. Marvin and Richard Lowery; and sister, Anna Lowery.
