BURNS FATAL TO WOMAN, 89
Mrs. Roda Mayo, 89, resident of a rest home at Emberson, who was badly burned Thursday morning, died Friday at 3:15 a.m. at Lamar Medical Center here.  Her clothing caught on fire from an open heater.
Mrs. Mayo, whose name was first reported as Mills, was a sister of the late Mrs. L.L. Aulgur of Paris, whom she often formerly visited.  A niece, Mrs. Emma Hope, 206 Plum St., Paris, survives.
Gene Roden and Sons here arranged transfer of the body to Richard Beck Funeral Home at Whitesboro, Mrs. Mayo's former home, where burial will be made.
