Martin 5 November 1896 - 23 January 1968 Gainesville Daily Register Friday, March 21, 1980 Ida Lou Martin, of Gainesville, died this morning in a Sherman hospital. Mrs. Martin was born February 9, 1900 in Dyes, Burk County, Tennessee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Thompson. She married Otto Lewis Martin January 16, 1916 in Whitewboro. He preceded her in death in 1968. Survivors are sons, Cordell and Kenneth O. Martin; daughter, Mrs. J.O. Miller; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchidren.
