  Thomas Shively 4 May 1833 - 27 December 1912 Martha B. Shively 12 August 1830 - 25 July 1881 The Whitewright Sun Friday, January 10, 1913 pg. 1 After an illness of about three weeks Mr. W.T. Shively, familiarly known as "Pap," quietly passed away at his home here Friday, December 28 [sic] at 4:35 p.m. in the presence of his son and daughter and a number of friends. Mr. Shively would have been 80 years of age at his next birthday in April [sic]. He was one of the oldest inhabitants of Tom Bean, having conducted a blacksmith shop here for the past twenty-five years or more. He is survived by one son and two daughters, Mr. J.F. Shively and Miss Bell Shively of Oklahoma, and Miss Sarah Shively of this place.
