Bells (Spl.) - Funeral services for Claude [sic] Reynolds, 75, a retired farmer, will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bells at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He died at his home at 14:25 a.m. Friday, September 21, 1962.  Officiating at the services will be Rev. Dale Moon, pastor of the Baptist church in Bells, and Rev. Don Howland of Tom Bean.  Interment will be in Washburn cemetery with Earnheart Funeral Home directing.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Fronia Reynolds of Bells; 2 sons, Cecil Reynolds of San Antonio and Floyd Reynolds of Bells; 7 daughters, Mrs. Ethel Rodgers and Mrs. Jessie Guthrie, both of Tom Bean; Mrs. Mael McCarter of Dallas; Mrs. Ned Ayres of Whitewright; Mrs.Marybelle Diugoah of San Antonio; Mrs.Doris Cunningham of South Carolina; and Mrs. Floyce Hansen of Midland.
Other survivors are 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A native of Kentucky, Mr. Reynolds was born in Bowling Green, September 23, 1886, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Reynolds.  He married Miss Fronia Houston at Pink Hill December 6, 1908, and they later moved to the Bells community and had lived there more than 50 years.  He was a member of the Baptist church.
