D.H. Washburn, Former Commissioner, Dies
D.H. Washburn, 80 years old, a former county commissioner of this precinct, which position he held for 4 years, died at his home at Pink Hill, west of Bells, Tuesday morning following a brief illness.
Deceased was a pioneer citizen of Grayson County, having lived in the county most of his life.  He was a member of the Pink Hill Baptist Church and the pastor of that church, Rev. J.A. Henderson, conducted the funeral service.  The Masons, of which order he was a member, had charge of the services at the grave.   Interment was in the Washburn cemetery.
Deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eva Washburn; 4 sons, Joe, Claud, John and William, all of whom live in the Pink Hill community.
