DEATH OF J.F. STEWART
Died Suddenly Sunday Evening at Home Near Pink Hill

J.F. Stewart, aged 73 years, a Confederate Veteran, almost a life long member of the Primitive Baptist Church and for many years a resident of the Pink Hill community, died suddenly Sunday evening at his home, heart failure being given as the cause of death. He was apparently in good health and was in the door of the kitchen when the stroke came.  He fell and by the time those nearby reached him, he was dead.
The funeral and burial took place yesterday afternoon and services were conducted by Rev. J.C. Gunter and burial had in the Pink Hill cemetery.
