Nell Lyons Goodwin was born October 15, 1922 in Whitewright, Texas to
Earl Lyons and Franki Mae Wilson Lyons. She married Jack Emory Goodwin
on November 10, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma. She died Friday, December 26,
2014 at Homestead of Sherman in Sherman, Texas at the age of 92. She
was a resident of Sherman, Texas. She is survived by sons, Billy Jack Goodwin and wife Gail of Mesquite, Nevada, and Roger Goodwin and wife Kay of Bells; ; granddaughters, Kathryn Goodwin-Hughes and husband Rhome of San Antonio, and Wendy Malmed of Reno, Nevada; ; four great-grandsons, Louie and Gabriel Hughes, and Race and Rider Malmed. ; She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Goodwin; and brother, Bill Lyons. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at City Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be her family.
