Funeral services vor George Albert Vestal, 62 wereheld at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Orangeville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. R.L. Cates of Randolph, Rev. Howard McSpedden of Pilot Grove, and Rev. E.P. Wootten of Whitewright.  Burial was in the City Cemetery here, directed by Earnheart.  Mr. Vestal died suddenly of a heart attack at 2:30 p.m. THursday at his home at Orangeville, four miles southeast of Whitewright.
Mr. Vestal was born in the Orangeville community November 3, 1878 and had lived there all his life.  He was married to Miss Eual Smith 35 years ago.  In addition to farming, he operated a grocery at Orangeville for about 10 years, and for several years operated a swimming pool on his farm at Orangeville.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, George Smith Vestal of Orangeville and the Rev. Dan Vestal of Decatur; a daughter,  Mrs. Chilton Hymer of Orangeville; two grandchildren; two brothers, John and Roscoe Vestal of Whitewright; and five sisters, Mrs. Albert Valentine and Mrs. Harvey Brown of Trenton; Mrs. Alton Bowen, Mrs. Ed Deaton and Mrs. Walter McDaniel of Orangeville.
