 Allie Mae [sic], 81, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 in Sherman. Allie Mae Smith was born April 13, 1940, daughter of Ernest "Shorty" Herman Smith and Audra Roberson Smith. She married Bobby Lee Winborne on October 29, 2005. He preceded her in death. Allie was a waitress most of her life along with working for Brown and Root as a pipeline fitters assistant while raising her 5 children. She loved country music and she lived for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Corona and husband, Leo, of Gatesville, Texas; daughter, Randella Montgomery of Sherman; son, Mark Montgomery and wife, Anita, of Chester, Virginia; son, Montye Montgomery of Sherman; daughter, Brandi Wilson and husband, Kelley, of Denison, Texas; daughter, Patricia Allyn and husband, Randy, of Cushing, Oklahoma; sister, Velma Montgomery and husband, Jr., of Whitewright, Texas. Allie is also survived by her best friend, Wanda Rutherford Walls of Sherman, Texas; stepchildren: Chuck Winborne; Doug Winborne; Billie Don Winborne; Bobby Star Farley; and Kim Rigdon; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Allie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 31 years, Bobby Lee Winborne; stepson, Bobby Dale Winborne; and 4 grandchildren. Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, November 5, 2021 at the Whitewright City Cemetery.
