Service were held Sunday in Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel at 4 p.m., in Bells, for Mrs. Rae Ryon, 78, who died Saturday morning after a ten-day illness.
Rev. Lawrence Smith, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Bells, conducted the service, assisted by Rev. Larry Rolison, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
Burial was in Virginia Point Cemetery, north of Bells.
Mrs. Ryon was born August 6, 1892 in Grayson county, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Williams.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and had lived most of her life in the Hebron community.
She is survived by two sons, Ben Williams of Bells and Woodrow Hodd of Spring; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Morris Ramsey of Bells and Mrs. Erwin Jerger; three stepsons, Homer Ryon of Whitewright, Buddy Ryon of Garland, and Jack Ryon of Sherman; one brother, James R. Williams of Whitewright; two sisters, Mrs. John Norris of Whitewright and Mrs. Pearl Watkins of Sulphur, Louisiana; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
