Lee England, a 93 year old resident of Tom Bean, passed away Thursday,
March 19, 2009 at Homestead of Sherman. She was born April 25,
1915 in De Kalb, TX, daughter of William Russell Haun and Flora Haddock
Haun. She married Martin England October 29, 1933 in Van Alstyne
and he preceded her in death in 1962. Funeral services for Mrs.
England will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2009 at the First
Baptist Church of Tom Bean under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home
with Rev. Larry Craig and Rev. John Hall officiating. Burial will
follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will be at the
Funeral home for visitation on Sunday from 4-6 pm. She is
survived by her three daughters, Martinette Kemp of Luella, TX; Alice
Graham of Melissa, TX; Flora Lee Rolen of Tom Bean, TX; seven
grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Haun and
Alta Fay David both of Van Alstyne, TX; and one brother, Howard Haun of
Van Alstyne. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the
